2006 Tour of California, Stage 6
Santa Barbara to Thousand Oaks in 89.3 easy miles. We made it to the penultimate climb—a few miles east of Ojai—then high-balled it down to Thousand Oaks for the finish.

2006 Tour of California, Stage 7
The last stage of the Tour. Ten laps of a circuit in Redondo Beach. Four riders broke away during the first lap. Their breakaway was aided by a crash in the peloton in that same first lap. The peloton stayed "neutral": they kept an easy pace allowing dropped riders to rejoin. Once they were all together, the pack ramped up the speed and began closing in on the breakaway, which they caught in the last lap!

2006 Fargo Street Hill Climb
.15 miles. 33% grade. The steepest paved road in California. Once a year, the L.A. Wheelmen hosts the Fargo Street Hill Climb. In addition to seeing some amazing efforts, it's also a blast to see the different kinds of bikes people use, and the modifications they make to them.
